Hello Again, Mezcal Maniacs!

11 Month Absence: Can I Ever Catch Up?

You’ve heard my excuses before, so I’ll sum it all up with: I’ve been busy!

Now that we’ve taken care of that, in preparation for next week’s trip, I should in the least finish documenting last year’s Oaxacan Mezcal Adventure, and maybe another article. My most two most recent chronicled our 2 day trip to Logoche, which I’ll never forget. I’ve spent more time there than in any other mezcal region, but my friends and I agree: we think we want to go back every year. We’ll be there this Sunday in fact!

But what else did I fail to spotlight? Basically 3 things:

-Our 2024 trip to San Baltazar Guelavila

-Our visit with our good buddy Plácido and his family

-Our 2024 trip to the only new region that year: San Baltazar Chichicapam

-Our 2024 trip to Michoacán

So on with it! I’ll be trying to kick all of these out in the next couple of days. Wish me luck.
